We traveled around the world for the next 12 years. We still think of Perryton as our "hometown" and would love to hear from anyone who remembers us. Name: Orvil Brummett CommentsI always enjoy visiting my home birth town. Thanks for the very good website. PHS grad 1949 Name: Pat CommentsWhy do you not discuss your fairgrounds, and Expo Center so people from out of town can find it? It is as important as the Golf Course to many of us. Especially those who like Craft Shows, and Rodeos? I am a recent graduate from PHS. My family still lives there and enjoy it very much. P town is a small town where everyone knows your business. Every talks about everyone. That is probably one of the bad things about Perryton. It is nice to visit everyone now and again. bd Name: Linda Yarbrough CommentsGreat site ... loaded with lots of terrific information. Now that I've posted our Aledo, Texas community e-magazine, I thought I'd visit some other local sites. We'd love to have you link to our site also: http://www.parkercountyeast.com Name: SERGIO CommentsHi, I from COSTA RICA, never I have been in perryton, but I want to say something, I am a big baseball's fan, and I am a big CLEVELAND INDIANS'S fan, now I am verry sad, because the team, is not the same good team, for trades, and more..., THAT TEAM IS NOT in the world series more, after the best baseball manager wast fired, the best baseball manager is now with the BALTIMORE ORIOLES. OKAY Good for them. For us is terrible... MY BIG DREAM: TO SEE THE BEST BASEBALL MANAGER ONE MORE TIME IN MY FAVORITE TEAM. Then our team will be in a world series one more time. I imagine PERRYTON IS SO PROUD OF ONE OF HIS SON, THE AMAZING MIKE HARGROVE. One of many HARGROVE'S FANS around the world. Now many people around the WORLD like me know PERRYTON EXIST. GOOD FOR YOU BECAUSE THE BEST BASEBALL MANAGER IN THIS WORLD IS NATIVE FROM PERRYTON. From Costa Rica A Baseball's fan. Name: Verna Wilson CommentsWe love your website!!! Keep up the good work!!!! Name: Vanessa Roberts Baileys CommentsName: Anthony CommentsI am in the 4th grade in Perryton. It's a great place! Name: Loree Hudson Lyles CommentsI lived in Perryton, Texas for 10 LONG years and when I finally moved, felt what it must feel like to be released from prison after a long incarseration. My memories of Perryton are of snobbish, clickish individuals, who were friendly to your face and gossiped behind your back. They have a "good ol-boy" attitude about the home towners and you either lived on the "good side of town or the other side of town".You are judged for where you live, what you have and who you are related too. I was luckier than most, I married into one of the "prominent, accepted" families, and it was easier as a newcomer, for me, than most, however, never felt fully accepted. How I lasted there for as long as I did is beyond me, and as I look back, thank God for the strength to get away from him and that Hellhole! Name: Pamela (Miller) Pollard CommentsI moved from Perryton in 1995 when i was in the 8th grade.I would like to fine anyclassmates that remember me.If anyone knows Deann Miller,Mary and Jacklyn Kyle, Mary critts, Kim Skulley, Uselltonns, or the Mannings Name: James"Blackie" Daniel CommentsI was glad to see that Perryton has a website. I was a l944 graduate of Perryton High School. My wife and I spent 32 years teaching and coaching in McAllen and Bay City. Retired in Scottsdale as they have a few golf courses here. PS Please excuse the English. Miss Harris did her best to teach me some English but I had to much fun just goofing off. My wife and I have three children and three grandchildren. We have a son that is B.S.M. director at U.T. in Austin. My youngest son is a partner in a law firm in Galveston and my daughter and family live in Bryan where her husband works in the computer department at A&M. Name: Wylene (Simmons) Bratton CommentsMoved to Perryton in 1979, graduated from PHS in 1980. Moved away in 1985. I now live in the beautiful state of Virginia but SO miss the beauty of the Texas Panhandle. Would love to hear from people who remember me. Wonder about Susan Hummer and DeAnn Uselton and others. Was unable to attend reunion in 2000 but heard I missed a good time from my brother Elvin. Name: Angelica Commentswell hello. I'm from Alvarado Texas, and gosh your town looks just as small as ours.
